The ALRC is committed to keeping children safe, as outlined in the Commonwealth Child Safe Framework. The ALRC reviews its risk register regularly and has identified that the ALRC holds no responsibility for children and young people.
The ALRC does not undertake consultations directly with children and young people and does not undertake any school student work experience programs. As such, the ALRC has a minimal risk level for abuse or potential harm to children and young people.
The ALRC ensures that all ALRC employees have access to the Commonwealth Child Safe Framework learning module and encourages all staff to complete the training annually.
