Review of the Family Law System – Terms of Reference and Commissioner

On 27 September 2017, Senator the Hon George Brandis QC, Attorney-General of Australia, provided Terms of Reference to the ALRC for a review of the family law system.

Additionally, the Attorney has announced the appointment of Professor Helen Rhoades as full-time Commissioner to lead the Review.

The ALRC looks forward to welcoming Professor Rhoades and beginning work on this important review.
