Do you know a prospectus from a PDS? When Phoebe Tapley started at the Australian Law Reform Commission in 2019, as a Research Associate to the Hon Justice SC Derrington AM, this wasn’t on the need-to-know list. Fast forward three years and now Phoebe can cite the differences between Chapter 6D and Chapter 7.9 of the Corporations Act when it comes to the application and content of disclosure requirements, including key definitions and standards.
As a Legal Officer, Phoebe made use of her exceptional research and analytical skills on the Family Law Inquiry and the Future of Law Reform Project. Her significant contributions to the Corporate Criminal Responsibility Inquiry and the first Interim Report for Financial Services Legislation Inquiry resulted in her promotion to Senior Legal Officer.
