Compensation for Native Title – Holt Prize winning book published

Last week William Isdale presented a copy of his book, Compensation for Native Title, to the ALRC.
William was awarded the 2021 Holt Prize for his manuscript, now published with The Federation Press.

New Background Paper: Submissions to Interim Report A

In a new Background Paper, Reflecting on Reforms – Submissions to Interim Report A (FSL6), the Australian Law Reform Commission provides an overview of the feedback it has received, by way of formal submissions, on questions and proposals outlined in Interim Report A.

The purpose of this Background Paper is to provide a foundation for further discussions with stakeholders as the ALRC continues to develop its proposals for reform.

Quality of Advice Review – impact on the ALRC’s Financial Services Legislation Inquiry

The ALRC looks forward to the final report of the Quality of Advice Review, and will have regard to its outcomes and recommendations in making any recommendations of its own in relation to financial advice law.
