Dr Vannessa Ho

Vannessa joined the ALRC in April 2023 as a Legal Officer. At the ALRC, Vannessa has worked on the following Inquiry:

Financial Services Legislation

Prior to joining the ALRC, Vannessa worked as a lecturer, tutor, and research assistant at Macquarie University in the fields of intellectual property, technology law and aspects of conveyancing.

Vannessa holds a Bachelor of International and Global Studies from the University of Sydney, a Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from UTS and a Master of Research from Macquarie University. She was conferred with a PhD from Macquarie University in October 2023. Her thesis is titled ‘Developing a Legal Framework for Determining Forum Choices during Transnational Intellectual Property Litigation’. Her Principal Supervisor was Professor Niloufer Selvadurai and her Associate Supervisor was Dr Daniela Simone.
