Legal Officer
Geneviève Murray is a Legal Officer at the ALRC. Geneviève joined the ALRC in 2019 and has contributed to the following ALRC Inquiries:
- Family Law
- Religious Exemptions in Anti-discrimination Legislation
- The Future of Law Reform?
- Corporate Criminal Responsibility
- Judicial Impartiality
Prior to joining the ALRC, Geneviève worked as an associate to now Chief Justice Wagner at the Supreme Court of Canada. She is qualified to practice in Canada and also works as a teaching fellow at Bond University. Geneviève has previously worked in the areas of international environmental law, taxation, and indigenous governance. Geneviève holds Juris Doctor degrees from NYU and Osgoode Hall and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Political Science from the University of Victoria.
