The Australian Law Reform Commission report, Integrity, Fairness and Efficiency—An Inquiry into Class Action Proceedings and Third-Party Litigation Funders (ALRC Report 134), was tabled in Parliament by the Attorney-General, the Hon Christian Porter MP, on 24 January 2019.
Report 134 contains 24 recommendations designed to promote fairness and efficiency in class action proceedings, protect litigants and assure the integrity of the civil justice system.
