A Discussion Paper Access to the Courts II - Class Actions was released in 1979.
The final report, Grouped Proceedings in the Federal Court (ALRC 46), was tabled in federal Parliament in December 1988.
There has been substantial implementation of the Commission's recommendations in ALRC 46.
