Service and Execution of Process (ALRC 40)
The inquiry into service and execution of process began in November 1982 and concluded with the tabling in federal Parliament of the final report, Service and Execution of Process (ALRC 40), in December 1987.
As part of the inquiry, the ALRC released an Issues Paper (IP 5) also titled Service and Execution of Process in 1984.
There has been substantial implementation of the Commission's recommendations in ALRC 40.
