Community Law Reform for the Australian Capital Territory: Second Report - Loss of Consortium and Compensation for Loss of Capacity to do Housework (ALRC 32)

In February 1984, the Australian Law Reform Commission was asked by the federal Attorney-General to conduct a law reform program for the Australian Capital Territory. Where reform of a law was possible without extensive investigation, the ALRC could proceed to investigate and report on the law without a further specific reference.

ALRC 32, Loss of Consortium and Compensation for Loss of Capacity to do Housework, was tabled in federal Parliament on 23 October 1986.

There has been substantial implementation of its recommendations.
