Domestic Violence (ALRC 30)
The terms of reference for the inquiry into domestic violence in the Australian Capital Territory were received on 29 May 1984.
A consultative document entitled Domestic Violence in the ACT: Discussion Paper (ACTLR4) was released in late 1984 and the final report, Domestic Violence (ALRC 30), was tabled in federal Parliament in March 1986.
There has been substantial implementation of the Commission's recommendations.
