Foreign State Immunity (ALRC 24)
The Australian Law Reform Commission began this inquiry with terms of reference dated 11 November 1982. A Discussion Paper, Foreign State Immunity (DP 19), was released in 1983 and the final report, Foreign State Immunity (ALRC 24), was tabled in federal Parliament on 10 October 1984.
There has been substantial implementation of the Commission's recommendations.
